Rapper Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter is not bothered by what actor Denzel Washington makes of his new album American Gangster - it is the actor's 23-year-old son he cares about. The 37-year-old was so inspired by Washington's latest movie American Gangster; he recorded an album of the same name and dedicated it to the film's director, Ridley Scott.
However Carter admits he isn't looking for approval from Washington - because his son is a bigger fan of the hip-hop star's music. Carter tells MTV.com, "(I'm) more (interested) for (one of his sons), because he follows my career. Me and (Denzel) are very cool, but his son is a huge fan."
